Itchy vans
I’m not sure exactly what has started it but I really want 2004 to be the year I start skating regularly again. For the past ten years i’ve kept my board but only ridden it a few times a year, and then only usually to the shops. With work, house renovations and a young family, time is scarcer than ever so i’m going to have to fit it in where I can.
I also need people to skate with - i’ve skated solo hundreds of times when I was younger but now I need the moral support of people my age!
I’ve still got a board:-
It’s an Adrenalin Matt Reason board - about ten years old, with my faithful indys which I had to redrill to make them fit the relatively nu school board. The wheels are fairly new powell bones - big, narrow, soft wheels - the opposite of what I would usually skate, but I bought them when I worked at a trendy new media company, where I was allowed to skate round the studio and my old schmitt stix sawblades were just too damn noisy!
