it’s all about the deaner
went to Dean Lane (Bedminster) Skatepark tonight - had a tank around. The locals - Dean Lane Hardcore (DLH) were having some sort of event - “Hang em High” - hanging loads of old boards up in the tree and getting pissed on booze.
Did a bit of flatland stuff, I can still do 180 shove-its, ollie up kerbs (just!) and ollie to tail on kerbs. I will go back for a carve around at some point when it is quiet, but compared to newer parks such as Hengrove it’s a bit gnarly and doesn’t have any bowls (there used to be bowls long ago apparently), plus the whole thing is on a slope which you have to keep skating back up!
