might as well start talking wheels again…

well, apart from skating to work there hasn’t been much skating going on recently in my life, mainly because the windows of opportunity have been drowned by summer rain, so i’m going to start digressing about wheels again.
The puppies above are Santa cruz bullet 66 95a and are probably my ideal wheels for hacking and sliding around on rough concrete. I’ve had them nearly a month but only used them once - I commuted to work on them and found them to be too rough and slow on the dodgy tarmac compared to my Kryps. I think the bearings might also be a bit knackered, but I always seem to damage bearings when removing them from wheels (I dont have a bearing extractor), so I dont want to hook out my good bearingsn and i’m not spending any money on skate stuff at the moment because cashflow is too tight…
I should try them on my street board, but i’m going to need risers for wheels that big… will my bolts be long enough for risers?
anywhere where am I going with this? nowhere - too much fecking rain
