the darkness
I went for a spontaneous trip to churchill mini-ramp last night, as it was raining and I really wanted to skate. The lights weren’t working - one of the staff at the centre managed to get them to come on by hitting them with a stick. By the time I had padded up they were off again, tried the stick technique myself but they weren’t having it. I skated in the semi-darkness for about ten minutes but it was getting too tricky, so I got my money back and sulked back to Bristol.
