embracing the new school part II
full on in my commitment to trying to join the present skate decade I have gone out and bought some new skate shoes, (vans geoff rowley xl2) found for bargain price in a sale. Padding - what a revelation! I was disappointed to find that my board didn’t instantly start flipping over when I rode in them for the first time, but hey. padding. I’m bouncing and springing around like I have new feet. I’ve also spotted some new-schoolish shape soft wheels that I want to try for the commute, and on the lookout for a cheap new school blank deck.
