newport if wet
I had planned to go to hengrove tonight, but rain forced me to confront the dandy highwayman on the severn crossing who robbed me of £4.80 and let me carry on to newport. I had a good fun session, starting on the mini, bit of bowl, slammed on the vert even though I never managed to get more than about five feet from the flat bottom.
I wouldn’t say it was my best skate extreme session, but so much less sketchy than when I last skated there at pirate jam II. I spent some time trying to learn to pop out of the bowl and mini (i.e. like at the end of a run, just popping out and catching my board).
