off road detour
Usually when I skate home from work down brandon hill, I get off and walk the second half - the path is too steep and narrow and it costs me a fortune in shoe soles to foot brake my way down. Last night on the new longboard I took a spontaneous detour onto the grass and took a lovely sweeping route down the whole hill zig-zagging, crossing paths and carving grass banks. It’s midsummer and the ground is solid as rock so I can get away with it for a bit
