Too Old To Skate

I’ve just signed up to the Lush Bath to Bristol Skateathon on June 2nd. The route follows the Bath-Bristol cycle path and reports about it’s smoothness vary, but hopefully I should be able to handle 13 miles as I do several miles a day on average on my skate commute. I’ll be dusting off my longboard, which doesn’t get much use these days, being a bit like riding a wardrobe, but makes sense for a long haul like this.
