Too Old To Skate

The forums are abuzz with talk about the new concrete skatepark being built in Saffron Walden, Essex by US skatepark builders Dreamland. The park is being built at a fantastic speed, from the reports and photos you can just see the experience and park building pedigree of the construction team. This is going to be an amazing world class skatepark and other towns are going to be embarrassed by the pathetic tarmac and flimsy metal quarterpipes and rails they commissioned from UK cowboys. Apparently the budget for this was £280k, and i’ve seen inferior parks to this that cost more, so the Saffron Walden Skate group that organised and campaigned for this this deserve a massive slap on the back. This will without a doubt be the best skatepark in the country, even if we did have to get the Yanks in to show us how it is done!
